Can’t connect to Heck Yeah Web
Problems with your phone, computer, or Wi-Fi connection are some of the common reasons why you might not be able to view your sessions on Heck Yeah Web.
Phone connection problems
If you’re unable to view your sessions on Heck Yeah Web from your phone, then you won’t be able to use Heck Yeah Web on your computer. Open your Heck Yeah app on your phone and start or join a session. If you can’t, learn more about how you can troubleshoot your phone connection.
If you’re able to start Heck Yeah video sessions from your phone, try using Heck Yeah Web on your computer again. If you still have issues starting your sessions on Heck Yeah Web, you may have a connection issue with your computer.
Computer connection problems
You must have a strong and stable Internet connection on your computer to use Heck Yeah Web. Check to make sure your computer’s Internet connection is active. If your computer’s Internet connection is working normally and you still can’t start your video session, refresh the page if you’re on Heck Yeah Web.
If the problem persists, try logging out and back into Heck Yeah Web, which you can learn how to do in this article.
Note: For Heck Yeah Web, you must use the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari. Other browsers such as Internet Explorer aren’t supported.
The following table indicates the browsers supported by the Heck Yeah Web. We support the most recent version and the two previous versions of these browsers unless otherwise indicated.
* Chrome and Firefox for iOS don’t have access to WebRTC APIs, unlike Safari for iOS.
** WebRTC support in Safari started with Safari version 11.
*** We support Chromium-based Edge only. Legacy Edge isn’t supported. See this advisory for more details.
Mobile browsers lack the ability to receive or maintain call connectivity whilst in the background and they do not allow GSM call interruption handling. These lead to poor user experience.
Wi-Fi connection problems
If you’re using a managed Wi-Fi network, such as at an office, library, or university campus, your network might be set up to block or limit connections to Heck Yeah Web. If Heck Yeah Web notifies you that you’re on a Wi-Fi network that’s preventing Heck Yeah Web from operating correctly, please make sure your network is set up to bypass traffic to “web.heckyeah.com” and “.web.heckyeah.com”.
